TEENS
is a post-punk trio based in Nipaluna/Hobart.Together, Shawn Arnold, Alex Davern and Jono Tate create music that is abrasive, dynamic, and intensely captivating. TEENS’ volatile musings on despair and alienation blend grit, vulnerability, intricacy and rawness, with their deceptively chaotic exterior belying an expertly applied command of tension and energy.
Four-piece
Big Modern
play music for defusing bombs and getting struck by lightning. Anxious post-punk that lurches between angular riffs, driving rhythms and deadpan humour. Their debut self-titled EP, released in November 2025, drew airplay from KEXP and triple j Unearthed radio, and landed on Spotify editorial playlists including New Music Friday AU & NZ and Wire. Sharing stages with Mini Skirt, Mac the Knife and Private Wives, their blistering live shows force even the most rigid punks to un-cross their arms.
Wollongong three piece
Miners
are not content to pigeonhole themselves into one particular genre, their latest release 'A Healthy Future On Earth' sees them blending shoegaze, emo, slowcore, and indie rock into a sound they have been crafting, quietly, for the better part of a decade. Having shared the stage with the likes of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Chimers and Cloud Nothings, Miners' live show is not one to miss.
