family affair presents: a sunday for Palestine
£12 - £14

Explore how abandonment shapes emotional development, relationships, and the way we connect with others. Followed by Q&A.
Humans are social species and we all need connections to survive. Across developmental stages, identities can be shifted by relationships and interactions with others. Abandonment or a disconnection, whether physical or emotional, can leave a lasting impact on identity, attachment and emotional development.
Join Dr Edel Mc Glanaghy in exploring the psychology of abandonment through therapeutic approaches including attachment theory, Interpersonal Therapy, and Schema therapy. Together we will examine how early relational experiences can influence adult relationships, emotional patterns, and the ways we seek connection, while also exploring how these patterns can begin to change over time.
Doors open at 7pm, talk starts at 7:30pm - come down early to grab a good seat!
