DHP Presents :
THE WELLERMEN
+ Ferester
The Wellermen are a transatlantic folk group known for their rich harmonies, dual bass foundation, and modern take on traditional sea shanty and folk influences. Rising to global attention in 2021 through viral performances that sparked the Wellerman phenomenon, they quickly evolved from an online moment into a fully realised live act with a dedicated international fanbase.
Since then, the group have steadily expanded their sound beyond their viral origins, blending East Coast American folk sensibilities with British musicianship and theatrical performance energy. Their EP 1778 marked a key step in this evolution, followed by a successful US tour that further established them as a compelling live act on both sides of the Atlantic.
Now entering their most ambitious phase to date, The Wellermen have completed their third studio album, their first fully original body of work. With Irish shows and a return US tour scheduled, the band are preparing for a full global rollout across the next 18 months, culminating in their first worldwide tour. Their trajectory reflects a clear shift from viral success to long term artistic development, built on storytelling, harmony led songwriting, and a growing international presence.
