Underground Tribe & Friends (1 year anniversary)

Underground Tribe marks one year of parties with a daytime celebration at Brixton Jamm (Front Room).

The day kicks off with an Open Deck session from 13:00 to 15:00, an open invitation for anyone to step up and play. It’s a chance to share your sound on a real system, in a proper venue, and set the tone for the day.

From there, the music runs into the evening, tracing the full spectrum of Afro-electronic sounds: from Amapiano, 3-Step and Afro Fusion to the heavier edges of Afro House, Afro Tech and Gqom.

Via Seri, A.K and Asali join Underground Tribe residents for a full day of music that builds from relaxed afternoon grooves to peak-time energy. More DJs will be announced closer to the date.

A caterer will be on site serving food throughout the day, and there’ll be happy hour at the bar from 13:00 to 15:00, so you can settle in and make a day of it.

Expect a proper day party: a block-style celebration with some of the best Afro-electronic sounds around. From the deep grooves of Black Coffee and Da Capo to the energy of Shimza, Dlala Thukzin and Caiiro, it’s all about the tracks that move dance floors. Come through, dance, and enjoy the day with Underground Tribe.
