As 2026 draws to a close, WRESTLEROCK returns to Richmond’s iconic Corner Hotel one more time on Friday, November 20th, celebrating 20 years of blood, sweat & beers the only way it knows how — with bone-crunching, power-bombing action and Australia’s wildest night out!

‘The Axecutioner’ Axe Massacre claimed the WRESTLEROCK Championship at the end of our last event, ushering in a new era. With the WRESTLEROCK Sheriff, ‘The Musketeer’ and the newly reformed ‘Sober’ Uncle Beej by her side, can anyone step up and overthrow the new regime holding WRESTLEROCK in a choke hold?
MEGALOMANIA — AUSTRALIA’S BLACK SABBATH TRIBUTE
WRESTLEROCK welcomes MEGALOMANIA, Australia’s premier Black Sabbath tribute show, to the Corner Hotel for the first time!
Fronted by Stuart ‘Ozzy’ Mander — Melbourne’s own Prince of Darkness — the band returns fresh from Ozzy’s Memorial Week in Birmingham, England, where Stuart performed at Birmingham’s O2 Academy alongside American rock royalty Steel Panther, singing ‘Crazy Train’.
Joining him are lead riffmaster Sam Robbins, Sunbury’s finest bassist Aaron ‘Traffy’ Trafford, and powerhouse drummer Harvey Lavis.
So get into the Sabbath spirit and wave the British flag at WRESTLEROCK!

Since 2006, WRESTLEROCK has been the MECCA of live rock ’n’ wrestling mayhem, bringing performers from across Australia and around the world together for the country’s most out-of-control sports entertainment event.
Combining live professional wrestling in a FULL-SIZE RING with some of the loudest and most notorious bands in the country, WRESTLEROCK has cemented its place as Australia’s most brutal, uncensored, pile-driving, bone-crunching sports entertainment extravaganza since 2006.

The Band Room at the Corner Hotel in Richmond is an iconic live music venue. Opened in 1871, the Corner Hotel is one of Melbourne's oldest pubs.
The Corner Hotel remodelled the venue to incorporate a live music stage In 1984. This was during the peak of the Aus Pub Rock scene popularised by artists such as The Screaming Jets, Sunny boys, The Angels and Hoodoo Gurus. In 1988, Dave Gilmour, the lead guitarist from psychedelic rock band Pink Floyd and Mick Jagger, the lead of The Rolling Stones, separately performed secret shows at the Corner.
There are a number of historical moments associated with the Corner Hotel. The White Stripes created the Seven Nation Army guitar riff during sound check before their show at The Corner. The band room of the corner has been used in multiple music videos for U2, The Living End and many more. The Corner Hotel has won or been nominated for the Best Venue over 500 capacity every year between 2016-2021.
