Bio
Azifm (real name Aidan Morris) is a drum & bass producer and DJ originally from Christchurch, New Zealand, now based in the UK (Bristol), and active on the global underground scene. He emerged with momentum after releasing his debut EP Making Way on Jack Workforce’s Must Make Music — becoming the first non‑label artist to do so and quickly gaining attention for his creative sampling, atmospheric production and rolling breakwork that bridges old‑school jungle and modern drum & bass. Azifm’s sound blends classic breakbeats with emotive melodies and refined groove, and he’s released music on respected labels including Must Make and has been supported internationally including on radio shows like Rinse FM’s Truth Hertz. His releases such as Dark Rooms & Frustrations further solidify his distinctive, forward‑thinking DnB style, making him one of the exciting rising talents from the Southern Hemisphere’s drum & bass community. In short: Azifm is a New Zealand‑born drum & bass artist and DJ shaping a unique sound that honors classic jungle roots while pushing forward into emotive, modern break‑driven music on the global stage.
