Barley Passable is a Sydney‑based Australian electronic pop duo formed in 2020, made up of Kai Ollmann and Davy Brown. They blend dance, electronic, pop and indie elements with influences from ’70s disco, ’80s new wave and modern French pop to create groove‑driven, stylish dance music. They’ve released multiple singles and EPs including Hindsight (2021), and tracks like Dial Tone and By My Side, receiving airplay on triple j Unearthed and building a reputation for energetic, synth‑rich productions.
