Bio
EGOISM is a Sydney-based dream pop and indie rock band formed in 2015 by songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Olive Rush and Scout Eastment. Known for blending hazy shoegaze textures, emotional lyricism, shimmering synths, and melodic indie-pop hooks, the duo create atmospheric music that balances nostalgic melancholy with bright, modern production. Their sound draws from dream pop, emo pop, and alternative rock influences while maintaining a distinctly intimate and cinematic style. Over the years, EGOISM have built a strong following through self-produced releases, energetic live performances, and emotionally reflective songwriting exploring youth, relationships, identity, and growing older.
