Bio
Bob Evans is the solo project of Australian singer-songwriter Kevin Mitchell, best known as the frontman and rhythm guitarist of Perth alternative-rock band Jebediah. As Bob Evans, Mitchell explores a more intimate, acoustic and roots-oriented side of his songwriting, blending folk-pop, indie pop, country and acoustic rock. His debut album, Suburban Kid, was released in 2003, followed by the acclaimed Suburban Songbook (2006), which won the 2006 ARIA Award for Best Adult Contemporary Album and was certified Gold. He has released six studio albums under the Bob Evans name.
