Bio
Cartel are an American pop‑punk/alternative rock band formed in 2003 in Conyers, Georgia, USA. They rose to prominence in the mid‑2000s with their breakthrough debut album Chroma (2005), featuring the hit single “Honestly,” which became a staple of the pop‑punk and emo scenes. Known for catchy melodies, emotional lyrics and energetic live performances, Cartel participated in MTV’s Band in a Bubble experiment in 2007 — living and recording inside a glass enclosure filmed 24/7 while completing their self‑titled second album. They continue to tour and make music, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Chroma in 2025 with a re‑recorded version and anniversary shows, and are working on new material slated for release in 2026.
