Bio
Hot Chelle Rae are an American pop‑rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2005 by Ryan Follesé and Nash Overstreet (later joined by Jamie Follesé). Originally called Miracle Drug, they rebranded as Hot Chelle Rae and released their debut album Lovesick Electric in 2009, gaining widespread attention with the double‑platinum hit “Tonight Tonight” in 2011 and follow‑up singles like “I Like It Like That.” Their 2011 album Whatever broadened their international audience and saw chart success in the U.S. and Australia. Hot Chelle Rae toured extensively in the early 2010s — including as part of Taylor Swift’s Speak Now World Tour and with artists such as Demi Lovato — before taking a hiatus. After reuniting in 2018, they’ve released new material including the Tangerine EP (2020) and continued performing live, bringing their upbeat pop‑rock energy to global audiences.
