Bio
Day Dreamers are a Melbourne-based alternative rock band known for their raw, high-energy performances and a sound that fuses 90s nostalgia with modern punk influences. Their music explores themes of personal turmoil, resilience, and the chaotic energy of contemporary life. The band consists of Zak Rakitic (vocals), Jordan Rakitic (bass), Daniel Lee (guitar), and Nick Dordevic (guitar and vocals). Their latest single, “y2k”, recorded DIY-style, reflects on modern-day anxieties while channeling the hysteria of the late 1990s, delivering a visceral, punk-charged experience that resonates with fans of both classic and contemporary alt-rock.
