Bio
Dopamine is an emerging five‑piece rock band from **Brisbane, Queensland, Australia**, known for blending indie rock and indie pop with rich melodic hooks and grit. Forming in the mid‑2010s, the group quickly became a fixture of the Brisbane live scene, earning airplay on Triple J Unearthed and building momentum with singles like *Don’t Mind Anyway* and *Strange Situation*, which showcase catchy rhythms, fuzzed‑out guitars and introspective lyricism. Their sound often draws comparisons to Brit‑rock and indie influences, with nostalgic elements that evoke classic guitar music while still feeling contemporary. Tracks such as *Angela* and *Alright Alright* highlight both emotive storytelling and driving rock energy. The band has shared stages with notable acts and played major local festivals, further cementing their reputation as one of Australia’s promising new rock outfits.
