Bio
Elision is a Sydney-based Australian band known for their heavy, technical sound that blends metal, hardcore, and rock with modern “thall”-influenced heaviness. Their music is built around down-tuned riffs, aggressive breakdowns, atmospheric elements, and emotionally intense delivery, placing them within the contemporary heavy Australian scene. They describe their style as “Thall-infused schizo-metal,” reflecting a mix of djent-influenced rhythm work, chaotic heaviness, and melodic undertones. Their sound draws comparisons to bands like Northlane, Alpha Wolf, Loathe, Vildhjarta, and Thornhill-era heaviness. Elision has released tracks such as “Death Is All You Will Know,” “Nostalgia,” and “Ludovico,” with several songs receiving support and airplay across triple j and Unearthed platforms.
