Bio
FANGZ are a five-piece punk rock band from Eora/Sydney, Australia, formed in 2019. Known for their high-energy “party punk” sound, they blend aggressive punk rock with melodic hooks, designed for chaotic live shows and mosh-pit energy. Since forming, they’ve released a series of EPs — *For Nothing* (2019), *But No Thanks* (2020), and *Falling Is Pretty Normal* (2022) — before dropping their debut album *Shui* in 2025, which charted in Australia and marked a major step in their national profile. Their music is rooted in punk rock and hardcore punk influences, often compared to acts like Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and Trophy Eyes, with a sound that mixes raw aggression, fast-paced instrumentation, and emotionally charged vocals. FANGZ have built a strong reputation in Australia’s live scene through relentless touring, festival appearances, and support slots with international punk and hardcore acts, earning a following for their energetic, unpredictable performances and community-driven approach to the punk scene.
