Horrorshow is an Australian hip-hop group formed in Sydney's Inner West by rapper Solo (Nick Bryant-Smith) and producer Adit (Adit Gauchan). Emerging in the mid-2000s, the duo quickly became one of the leading voices in Australian hip-hop, earning acclaim for their introspective lyricism, emotionally rich storytelling, and cinematic production. After signing with Elefant Traks in 2008 while still teenagers, they released a string of critically acclaimed albums, including *The Grey Space*, *Inside Story*, *King Amongst Many*, *Bardo State*, *New Normal*, and *Good Problems, Bad Feelings*. Across their career, Horrorshow has received multiple ARIA Award nominations, achieved Gold record certification, and built a loyal following through heartfelt live performances and honest songwriting. Rather than focusing solely on traditional hip-hop themes, Horrorshow's music explores universal experiences such as love, grief, mental health, nostalgia, personal growth, and hope. Their thoughtful approach has helped broaden the appeal of Australian hip-hop, making them influential figures within the genre. In 2023, producer Adit stepped away from full-time touring, with Solo continuing the project while maintaining the group's signature sound and reflective spirit. Their music continues to resonate with audiences through its authenticity, vulnerability, and uplifting perspective.
