Huxton Creepers were a Melbourne-based Australian rock band formed in the early 1980s by school friends Rob Craw, Paul Thomas, Matthew Eddy, and Archie Law. Known for their energetic live shows and melodic guitar-driven sound, they became one of Australia's most respected underground guitar bands of the decade, scoring attention with songs such as *"I Will Persuade You"*, *"My Cherie Amour"*, and *"Pretty Flamingo."* The band's music blended jangly guitars, power-pop hooks, pub rock energy, and classic rock'n'roll influences. Contemporary descriptions often compare them to Australian acts such as the Sunnyboys and Hoodoo Gurus, while also drawing inspiration from 1960s rock and punk-infused guitar music. After releasing the albums *12 Days to Paris* (1986) and *So This Is Paris* (1988), the group disbanded around 1990 but reunited periodically for tours and special performances. In 2026, they celebrated the 40th anniversary of *12 Days to Paris* with a reissue campaign, national tour, and their first new recordings in over three decades.
