Bio
Internet Romance are a Melbourne‑based heavy rock/punk band known for loud, thick guitar riffs, driving rhythms and a raw, energetic live sound. They’re building buzz around their debut single “My Dog’s A Liar” — a playful, high‑energy anthem that combines punchy rock dynamics with tongue‑in‑cheek attitude ahead of its official launch in January 2026. The band’s frontperson Tilly Abdallah has described the group’s name as coming from the fact that the members met online, reflecting both a modern origin story and the ironic spirit in their music. Internet Romance’s sound leans into raw, distorted rocks with soul‑inspired vocals and quick‑changing rhythms, creating an engaging wall of sound that resonates in live venues around Fitzroy and greater Melbourne.
