Bio
Kaskade (real name Ryan Gary Raddon) is an American DJ, music producer and electronic artist who has been a major figure in the global electronic dance music (EDM) scene since the early 2000s. Born on February 25, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois, he began DJing in his teens and later worked with dance labels before launching his own artist career. Kaskade’s breakthrough came with house‑inflected releases like It’s You, It’s Me (2003) and In the Moment (2004) and continued through a series of acclaimed studio albums and remixes. His sound spans house, deep house, progressive house and electro house, blending emotive melodies with club and festival energy. Over two decades he has built a reputation as one of dance music’s most respected DJs — DJ Times twice named him “America’s Best DJ” — and he’s known for major Las Vegas residencies, global festival appearances and charting hits like Move for Me, Fire & Ice and Atmosphere. Kaskade also collaborates frequently, including with deadmau5 as part of the duo Kx5, and continues to influence the evolution of electronic music worldwide.
