Bio
Loose Surface is an alternative rock band from Wollongong (Illawarra), New South Wales, Australia, known for their explosive live performances and unapologetic arena-rock attitude. Since forming in 2023, the band has played more than 70 shows across Australia, sharing stages with acts including FANGZ, Dune Rats, and DZ Deathrays, while also supporting charitable causes such as Endometriosis Australia. Their high-energy sound and commanding stage presence have quickly established them as one of the Illawarra's rising rock acts. Drawing influence from Amyl and the Sniffers, Destroy Boys, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, and Paramore, Loose Surface combines punchy punk energy, hook-driven alternative rock, and gritty indie influences. Their releases, including "Pulp," "Lilith," and "Hearing Aids," showcase driving riffs, powerful vocals, and a raw, modern rock sound.
