Bio
Mclusky (often stylized as mclusky) are a British rock band from Cardiff, Wales, formed in 1996 and known for their raw, chaotic noise‑rock and post‑hardcore sound. They started out under the name Best before adopting the Mclusky moniker in 1999 and gaining a cult following with critically acclaimed albums like Mclusky Do Dallas (2002) and The Difference Between Me and You Is That I’m Not on Fire (2004). Their music is marked by abrasive guitars, punk energy, sharp wit, and sardonic lyrics, earning them respect in underground rock circles. After disbanding in 2005, members went on to other projects but the group reformed in the 2010s and released new music leading up to their first studio album in over 20 years, The World Is Still Here and So Are We, in 2025 — a comeback celebrated by fans and critics alike.
