A newer band from Adelaide, Australia, active from around 2021. Initially started as a solo project of Tom Katsaras, evolving into a full band including violin, guitars, bass, drums. Their debut record New Old Horse combines noise rock and wounded country-inflected rock, mixing brute sonic intensity with emotional, vulnerable songwriting. Their sound goes from explosive, aggressive parts to quieter, brooding sections; vocals are raw, impassioned, often quivering with emotion.
