Pez (real name Perry Chapman, born 3 May 1984 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia) is an Australian hip hop recording artist, MC and rapper who has been active since the mid‑2000s. Rising from Melbourne’s hip hop scene, he first broke through with his 2008 debut album A Mind of My Own, which reached No. 19 on the ARIA Urban Albums chart and featured the breakout single “The Festival Song” — a summer anthem that peaked at No. 7 on Triple J’s Hottest 100. Pez’s career includes collaborations with Australian hip hop acts such as 360, Seth Sentry, Illy, Drapht and others, as well as performances alongside international artists. He helped launch the label Forthwrite with 360 and has toured nationally, celebrating career milestones like the 15‑year anniversary of his debut album with a return tour.
