Split Chain is a British rock band from Bristol, England, formed in 2023. Known for their genre‑bending sound often described as “nu‑gaze”, they blend influences from nu metal, shoegaze, post‑hardcore, grunge, and alternative metal into a cohesive, emotive style that marries heavy riffs with atmospheric textures. The five‑piece — vocalist Roberto Martínez‑Cowles, guitarists Oli Bowles and Jake Reid, bassist Tom Davies, and drummer Aaron Black — have quickly gained attention for their immersive live performances and dynamic songwriting. They released their debut singles in 2023 and followed up with their first full‑length album motionblur in 2025 after signing with Epitaph Records, helping elevate their profile with international touring and festival appearances
