Bio
Steppers are a Melbourne-based, 7-piece experimental funk and psychedelic soul band known for their groove-driven, horn-rich sound led by soulful vocals and tight rhythms. They’ve released multiple singles (like “P.I.C.”, “Funkovski” and “Friend To Hold”) and built a strong live reputation across Australia with tours, festival appearances and sold-out shows, blending funk, soul, jazz, and psychedelic influences. Steppers consist of seasoned Melbourne musicians whose combined experience includes work with prominent acts in the local scene, and they’re working toward a debut album slated for 2026, with continued performances planned around Australia and beyond.
