Bio
Stirr are a Sydney-based post-punk and indie rock band known for their atmospheric yet energetic sound. The five-piece — Ruben Dragone, Jorjabelle Munday, Zachary Lisle, Tom Oswald, and Angus Kettley — blend shoegaze textures, punk edge, and experimental rock elements, creating music that’s both immersive and intense. Their songs, including “Speedracer”, “Aviator Navigator”, and “Douz”, showcase layered guitars, moody vocals, and bursts of raw emotion, drawing comparisons to King Krule and Spirit of the Beehive. Emerging from Sydney’s underground scene, Stirr have quickly gained attention for their dynamic live shows and genre-bending sound.
