The Gloom In The Corner Is a metalcore band from Melbourne, Australia, formed in 2016. The group is known for their cinematic storytelling style—often described as “cinema-core”—which combines heavy breakdowns, theatrical elements, and a conceptual narrative universe across their releases. The band features members Mikey Arthur (vocals), Jesse Abdurazak (guitar), Paul Musolino (bass), and Joshua Clinch (drums). Their music blends aggressive metalcore with dramatic melodies and lore-driven lyrics that create an immersive fictional storyline across albums and EPs. Since their debut album Fear Me (2016), the band has released multiple projects including *Homecoming* (2017), *Flesh & Bones* (2019), *Ultima Pluvia* (2020), and *Trinity* (2022). They have toured internationally and performed alongside heavy acts such as Fit For A King, Fit For An Autopsy, and Cane Hill.
