Bio
The Resignators are a long‑running Australian ska punk band formed in 2005 in Melbourne, Victoria. They’re known for their upbeat, horn‑driven sound that blends ska, punk rock, reggae, and rock influences into energetic, danceable music. Led by founding vocalist Francis Harrison, The Resignators built their reputation through relentless live shows, DIY ethos, and infectious rhythms that draw listeners into skanking and singing along. With a signature mix of brassy horn sections, upstroke guitar rhythms, tight rhythm sections, and punk attitude, their sound recalls classic third‑wave ska and modern punk fusion. They’ve released several albums and EPs over nearly two decades, including Time Decays (2008), Offbeat Time (2009), See You in Hell (2010–12), Down in Flames (2013), Party Dates (2017), Rabbithole (2023), and recent singles like Sugar High (2025). The Resignators are known for their high‑energy live shows, touring extensively across Australia and internationally (Europe, North America), and playing festivals where their lively, positive stage presence and danceable ska grooves bring fans together.
