NAETHAN APOLLO (USA) | AUSTRALIA 2027 Tickets

About this event

Following a near sold-out debut Australian run earlier this year, genre-fusing storytelling phenomenon
Naethan Apollo
(USA)
today announces he will return for a nationwide tour in 2027. The five-date run will see Naethan enchant audiences in
Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney,
and
Brisbane
next May.
Naethan Apollo has built a massive global following through his unique fusion of folk, rap, pop, and spoken-word storytelling - think Dungeons & Dragons meets Hobo Johnson - amassing an audience of over 1.4 million TikTok followers, and over 200 million streams. His versatility as an artist sees him develop elaborate fantasy worlds with unique lore and complex characters, most recently depicted in his 2025 album
Tales From Cazilor: Wyldflowers
, through to passionate social justice anthems like
SAME OLD STORY
and
ICE BREAKER
, which take aim at the current sociopolitical landscape in the USA.
Raised in a rural town called Solon, Iowa, and later shaped by basement shows while attending Iowa State for graphic design, Naethan Apollo creates a sort of DIY mytho-music where everything is canon and the songs serve a bigger-picture narrative arc. On stage, Naethan translates his DIY, community-first ethos into intimate, theatrical and highly interactive performances driven by strong crowd engagement and narrative immersion.
With a brand new record
WHAT IF I EXPLODED

Venue

Howler

The Howler is a bar and concert venue. The Howler is an old warehouse or factory of some sort, nestled in a carpark, on Dawson St just off Sydney Rd in Brunswick.

The bar area is one of the most aesthetically pleasing and trendy sections of a venue in Melbourne. Part of the roof in the bar area is not present except for some of the metal framing, which allows a lot of sunlight into the venue during day parties. Immersed throughout the Howler is several rows of garden beds, hanging plants and large plant pots.

The stage area is similar to most concert spaces. The crowd and music is completely dependent on the artist playing that evening.

The Howler is at its best when it has day parties in the bar area. Different promoters run the day parties so the crowd and DJs can vary but the vibe is most of the time very similar, in that, it pumps and more often that is very friendly.
