Rymden

The all-encompassing, high-latitude soundscapes of RYMDEN.

Having spent decades shaping the architecture of European jazz, Bugge Wesseltoft, Magnus Öström, and Dan Berglund move between melancholic piano motifs and visceral, rock-inflected percussion. It is a partnership defined by a near-telepathic chemistry, where intricate rhythmic layers give way to expansive, open-ended exploration.

A sound rooted in Scandinavian atmosphere, yet untethered from tradition—a mature, intuitive dialogue between three artists who helped write the book on contemporary improvisation.
