The Inadequates x Mickey & Michelle

DON’T MISS THE FOLK MUSIC EVENT OF THE CENTURY!!!
Feuding Australian folk heavyweights The Inadequates and Mickey & Michelle go head to head in this one-night-only event. Both bands thought that a feud would help bring some attention to their niche genre, and have been trading blows at every folk festival since 2024. To be honest it hasn’t really helped either of them, but still the feud rages, and it will be SETTLED TONIGHT. One set each. One winner. Not really sure how it’ll be decided, but it ends here.

IN THE BLUE CORNER: MICKEY & MICHELLE (7pm):
Descending from the mountains are harp and fiddle extravaganza Mickey & Michelle, whose energetic and virtuosic performances have captured hearts throughout Australia and New Zealand. Recently returned from a 5 month tour of the Northern Hemisphere; Mickey & Michelle are primed to return home with a gorgeous “chamber-folk” tapestry of original Celtic music infused with vocal harmony and fiery improvisations.

IN THE RED CORNER: THE INADEQUATES (8pm):
3 boys with an accordion, mandolin and guitar. All sing too, how good is that. F∗∗k yeah.
