Bodyjar is an Australian punk rock band from Melbourne, Victoria, formed in 1990 (originally under the names *Damnation* and *Helium* before becoming Bodyjar in 1994). The band is known for its energetic blend of pop punk, punk rock, and skate punk, combining fast, melodic guitar-driven songs with high-energy live performances. They became a key part of the Australian punk scene throughout the 1990s and 2000s, building a strong international following through constant touring across Australia, the US, Europe, and Japan. Their reputation grew alongside releases like *Rimshot! (1996)*, *No Touch Red (1998)*, *How It Works (2000)*, and *Plastic Skies (2002)*, which helped establish them as one of Australia’s most respected punk acts. The band went on hiatus in 2009 but reformed in 2012 and have continued releasing music and performing live. They are often associated with the global pop punk and skate punk movement of the late ’90s and early 2000s.
