Bio
Buried Feather is a Melbourne-based psychedelic rock band known for their fuzzy drone guitars, swirling keyboards, and hypnotic live performances. Their sound has drawn comparisons to bands like Dead Meadow and Spacemen 3, blending heavy psych rock with atmospheric kosmische influences. The group gained attention through Australia’s underground psych scene following their 2013 debut album and later released their second album *Mind of the Swarm* in 2017 through Cobra Snake Necktie Records and Kozmik Artifactz. The band’s music combines woozy, spacey textures with groove-driven rock, and they have toured alongside acts such as Endless Boogie and Earthless. Their recordings were also associated with notable Australian music figures including Paul Maybury of King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.
