Bio
Dumbhead is a Melbourne‑based three‑piece (Maayan Barnatan, Billie Raffety and Zach Salmon) who create an atmospheric blend of trip‑hop, IDM, experimental jazz and electronic textures. They launched with their EP Stop Motion (2023) and followed with a second self‑titled EP in 2025, featuring tracks like “Problem Dog”, “Want Light!” and “Strange Hiatus”. Their sound is characterised by layered instrumentation (sax/trumpet, programming, guitars), jazz‑trained vocals (Raffety), and haunting operatic chorales that give them a unique sound in the Melbourne scene.
