Za Noon is the solo project of Melbourne-based artist Jess Zanoni, known for her work as frontwoman of the alt-rock group Arbes. She launched Za Noon to explore a more introspective, guitar‐based sound, moving away from the synth-driven textures of her band work toward tender, emotive alternative folk/pop. Her debut single under this project, “Beg,” was released as part of a new sonic identity that trades in dreamy atmospheres and intimate vocals. Her latest record, Heartdrag (May 2025), further cements this direction—evoking shifting emotional tides, connection and place.
