Bio
HAMMERS is a heavy rock/post‑hardcore band from the Gold Coast / Northern Rivers, Australia, active since around 2017. They’ve built a reputation for blistering live shows, heavy riffs, and a gritty rock sound that blends post‑hardcore, alternative metal, punk, and rock influences. Fronted by Leigh “Fish” Dowling (vocals) alongside Lucas Stone (vocals & guitar), Dario Lagana (guitar & backing vocals), Rick T (bass) and Ryan “Ruckus” Lucas (drums), the band has released popular EPs such as *Homeblokes* (2018) and *Kicking Goals* (2020) and, in 2026, their long‑awaited debut full‑length album *Death Wobbles*. HAMMERS are known for their energetic, riff‑driven sound and Aussie rock attitude, drawing comparisons to acts like *Every Time I Die*, *Stray From the Path*, *Alice in Chains* and *He Is Legend*, with themes mixing heavy grooves, emotional depth, and raw power.
